Who this is for
Families who need a few hours of dependable help each day or week — mornings, evenings, or specific days — rather than round-the-clock coverage. We serve adults of every age, not only seniors, across Oakland and Wayne counties. Care is non-medical: hands-on personal care, medication reminders, and everyday support, with no clinical procedures.
A Registered Nurse behind every caregiver
Before a care professional ever works in your home, their hands-on skills are verified in real time by a Registered Nurse — not self-reported on an application. When a situation gets complicated, our caregivers are not guessing alone: our Registered Nurse is available for clinical input and provides background oversight for the team. Austin Adair, the owner, builds and owns your care plan and every reassessment himself. The care we deliver is non-medical.
The first 72 hours decide everything. We staff them differently.
Most agencies send whoever is free, hand them a care plan, and hope. We start most new cases with a Care Pro Lead — one of our highest-performing caregivers — who works the fragile first days and learns the home, the person, and the unwritten routines no care plan captures.
Then comes a Warm Handoff: your ongoing caregiver spends a full shift in the home alongside the Care Pro Lead before taking over, so the person who walks in on their first solo day is not a stranger.
The Care Pro Lead stays as your escalation point for the first 30 days. If your regular caregiver is out, the backup has already been briefed — or the Care Pro Lead comes back.

Honest answers before you call
- What is the smallest amount of care you will take on?
- Twelve hours a week with a four-hour minimum per visit. Shorter visits do not leave enough time to do the job well, and split-hour scheduling is how caregivers get burned out and cases fall apart.
- What will this actually cost me?
- Companion care runs $27–$32 per hour and personal care runs $29–$37 per hour in Southeast Michigan. We will price your real schedule on the phone rather than making you fill out a form to find out.
- What do you not do?
- We are non-medical. No injections, wound care, catheter care, or anything requiring a nurse in the home. We do hands-on personal care, medication reminders, meals, housekeeping, transportation, and supervision.
- How fast can care start?
- Austin visits your home for the consult first — care never starts without it — and once the agreement is signed we routinely begin within days.
- What happens if my caregiver calls in sick?
- Our office handles it, not you. The backup has already been briefed by the Care Pro Lead who started your case, and if no one else is right, the Care Pro Lead comes back.
